Senior Engineer Lab Test Services

•Senior engineering member of the Kyrio team supporting over 10 cable modem vendors globally across North America, Asia, Europe including top vendors such as Charter Communications, Comcast, Hitron, Humax, and many more.

•Provided ongoing training and support for new engineering hires on the Kyrio team.

•Responsible for executing multiple sets of interoperability certification tests in the Systems, Evaluation Lab, focusing on DOCSIS and PacketCable.

•Work closely with engineers from CableLabs and participating vendors to ensure that the proper tests are run and documented in the appropriate manner to verify the interoperability between devices.

•Configure and run digital video head-end equipment, SCM/NDS CableCard using Harmonic

system, OpenCable using DAC and DNCS, Averna Jupiter 300/310 and network equipment in support of interoperability and certification events.

•Knowledge of communications protocols, digital video systems, RF networks, and CableCARD interface streamline testing.

•OpenCable Host Device with multiple platform tru2way/OCAPv1.0/OCAPv2.0, and OpenTY compliant end-to-end for open digital cable.
