Director, Billing Operations January 2021 - December 2023

Vestis/Aramark Uniform Services – Atlanta, GA

Transformed and unified 3 billing teams that supported 120 facilities by establishing customer accounts/maintenance, daily invoicing generation, and processing. Developed system enhancements to streamline the billing team’s activities to improve accuracy and productivity, providing greater internal and external customer satisfaction. Created training tools for the 110 billing associates in Lexington, KY, Minneapolis, MN, and Toronto, Canada to standardize the billing procedures. Extensive collaboration with the sales, supply chain, operations, finance, and executive teams on process improvements for our ongoing business needs.

Worked in partnership with IT to implement a new billing system which consolidated three billing platforms into one, after our acquisition.

Mentored the billing team managers to become better leaders within their teams.

Oversaw the financial performance of one region consisting of 15 production facilities and 8 field controllers. Partnered with the Region VP to provide financial guidance to the facilities, and implement standards and operational improvements. Through our monthly close process and P&L reviews, I performed comprehensive variance analysis to determine root causes and worked with the facilities on implementing process improvements to increase productivity and profitability.

Created a 12-month rolling revenue and profit projection query using Hyperion.

Established a shared services billing hub by consolidating 9 billing teams into one. Standardizations were developed which resulted in paperwork reduction, processing efficiencies, and a reduction in staffing requirements. Annual cost savings of $1.5M.
