PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Aureum May 2023 - Currently

Salesforce Developer Senior

Currently, I am involved in all the following matters for Aureun's client Pure Storage:

As a Salesforce Developer Senior, I work closely with teammates on the GTM Systems team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. I collaborate with other teams, including GTM Operations, Sales, Accounting, and Finance.

I work on L2O and Q2O projects (Lead to Opportunity and Quote to Order).

Additionally, I engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to products, pricing, quoting, order processing, inventory, and contract management processes.

I ensure effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders throughout all phases of development, testing, and deployment. I translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage Salesforce and CPQ capabilities. I design, configure, and customize Salesforce and CPQ solutions to meet business needs, including product configuration, pricing rules, and discounting.

I develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations. I create intuitive UIs using Lightning Web Components, Aura, and Flow technologies. I provide ongoing management of CPQ, addressing escalated user inquiries and resolving technical issues. I drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement enhancements.

For deliveries, we use Copado along with GitHub Enterprise to streamline our deployment process, ensure version control, and maintain a robust and efficient CI/CD pipeline.

When it comes to talking about integrations, I’ve been working with tasks related to Salesforce against NetSuite (for Order to Quote), and Boomi (For messaging and emails) to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity between different systems.

Globant August 2020 – April 2023

Tech Lead / Technical Architect / SME

Over those 3 years, I have been involved in several projects for large companies such as GoDaddy, Dell, Disney, ACV Auctions, and Blackboard to develop Salesforce applications.

While I was assigned to the GoDaddy client as a Salesforce Technical Architect, along with a Senior Salesforce Developer, a Semi-Senior Salesforce Developer, and a Salesforce Business Analyst, I was able to implement a delivery pipeline using GitHub Actions for CI, QA, UAT, and PROD environments. Our main objective during the 7 months was the migration of Process Builder and Workflows to Flows, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined automation process.

For six months, I was assigned as the primary Senior Salesforce Developer for the client ACV Auctions, integrating Salesforce with Splunk using Apex. We focused on efficient data flow and analytics, designing an architecture with Apex Batch classes and Queueable jobs. These batches are called Splunk REST APIs to ensure seamless data transfer. By following best practices, we wrote modular, bulk-safe code, used selective queries to avoid governor limits, and processed data in chunks.

During my time as a Salesforce Technical Lead for Dell, I was able to implement a delivery pipeline using Bitbucket for CI, QA, UAT, and PROD environments. I worked alongside a Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Community Consultant, and Salesforce Business Analyst. Over the course of almost 6 months, our main objective was to migrate the Jive communities to Experience Cloud, ensuring a smooth transition and improved user experience. The purpose of these sites is to enhance internal communications, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among employees.

In my role as Salesforce Technical Lead for the Disney client for 7 months, working alongside a Salesforce Developer and a Salesforce Business Analyst, we were able to create a completely custom approval solution in LWC. Together with Dell's Salesforce Architect, we implemented a delivery pipeline using GitHub Actions for various environments such as CI, QA, UAT, and PROD.

After three months of diligent work as a Salesforce Technical Lead, I successfully implemented a conflict-free trigger framework at Blackboard. The new system not only eliminated trigger conflicts but also provided a scalable and maintainable structure for future developments. My efforts significantly improved the efficiency and reliability of our Salesforce instance, earning recognition and appreciation from both the technical team and business stakeholders.

Capgemini Enero 2017 – August 2020

Salesforce Technical Lead / Architect

I was working as a Salesforce Tech Lead with a strong focus on custom development and system integration at Coca-Cola, a client of Capgemini. My role encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, allowing me to dive deep into the technical aspects of Salesforce while leading a talented team.

Technical expertise was at the core of my daily activities. I designed and developed custom Lightning Components, APEX Classes/Triggers, Visualforce Pages/Components, and web services (both SOAP and REST). I also worked extensively with workflows, reports, dashboards, and Salesforce Identity (SSO/SAML). My knowledge spanned across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Platform applications.

A significant portion of my work was dedicated to integrating Salesforce with various systems, primarily the ERP system SAP. This involved using different technologies and tools to ensure seamless data integration. For instance, I utilized Salesforce Connect for real-time data access, REST APIs for custom integrations, and middleware solutions like MuleSoft for complex data transformations and orchestrations. Our integrations covered a wide range of data types, including accounts, assets, orders, and inventory, ensuring that the data flowed smoothly and accurately between systems.

I worked closely with the Salesforce Architects at Coca-Cola, who were instrumental in promoting best practices and the adoption of modern methodologies. Our team embraced the DevOps methodology, which significantly improved our efficiency and quality of work. We used tools such as Jira with a Scrum template to implement Agile methodology. Source control was managed through Bitbucket, and we used Bitbucket pipelines along with Docker to implement Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD). This approach allowed us to deliver new features and updates rapidly while maintaining high standards of quality.

Axa Assistance October 2010 – October 2016

Salesforce Developer

As a Salesforce developer, I worked with Apex Classes & Triggers, Apex REST API, Visualforce Pages, and queried databases using SOQL & SOSL. My approach was rooted in test-driven, agile development, ensuring robust and efficient solutions. A significant assignment involved the Visa portal (https://www.visa.com.ar/visa-home-ar.html), a partner of AXA Assistance, where I focused on Visualforce pages and components for email notifications. I handled Workflow rules, approval processes, and older Salesforce features, integrating them into the Service Cloud and Community Cloud (now Experience Cloud). In the Service Cloud, I managed Case Management, Entitlement Management, and Knowledge Base, enhancing customer support tools. For the Experience Cloud, I customized community pages, managed user profiles, and ensured seamless integration with Salesforce, boosting user engagement and collaboration. Additionally, I facilitated data migration and integration using Data Loader, maintaining system integrity. This role honed my technical skills and enabled me to translate business requirements into technical solutions, showcasing the transformative power of Salesforce.
