Mobile Service Robot Development Github Aug 2023 - Feb 2024 Description: Developing an intelligent robot to replace lecturers in admissions counseling and student guidance. The robot reduces lecturers’ workload and makes school visits more enjoyable for students. Students interact with the robot through a web interface on its screen. From the message entered, the robot uses an AI model to answer questions and guide as requested. My responsibilities:

• Research and build a system to answer questions and lead the shortest route to the required room through SQL and NoSQL databases. Research reinforcement learning to improve actions on the model.

• Design a website for students to interact with the robot and give directions. And packing by Docker and storing API by FastAPI framework.

Technology Description:

• Techniques: A Star, Word2Vec, Word Embedding, Tokenize, Stemming, Lemmatization, Regex.

• Model: RNN, LSTM, Transformer, BERT, Deep Q Learning.

Autonomous Driving Github Oct 2023 - Now

Description: Developing a self-driving car system that navigates without human intervention. The project aims to improve traffic safety, reduce human error accidents, and optimize travel time. Our car uses multitask learning to detect lanes and signs. Additionally, our team researches reinforcement learning to make driving decisions from input images. My responsibilities:

• Research model to solve the problems: Lane Detection (Unet, PINet, Yolov8), Traffic Signs Detection

(YOLOv5, YOLOv8, CenterNet), Multi-Task Learning (CERBERUS) and image processing.

• Research controller based on PID, DQN, DDQN. Simulating on Unity, and CARLA to test algorithms and building embedded system on STM32, Raspberry, and Jetson. Technology Description:

• Model: UNET, PINet, YOLOv5, YOLOv8, CenterNet, CERBERUS, DQL, DDQL.

• Techniques: PID controller, Canny, Gaussian Blur, Hough Line Transform.

Text-Video Retrieval Github Aug 2023 - Oct 2023

Description: Developing a video query system based on text input. This project aims to assist users in efficiently searching and retrieving specific information from lengthy videos, thereby saving time and enhancing productivity. The system uses both Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision technologies to translate textual queries into actionable video content. My responsibilities:

• Establish system pipelines. Use vector search index and search matching features.

• Extract features from video and get text features to correlate with frames of video in the database.

• Furthermore, the text on the frames of video would be utilized by using Automatic Speech Recognition, Image Captioning, and OCR to extract features and compare with the input text. Technology Description:

• Model: CLIP, PLIP, BLIP, FLIP, BERT, Transformer, TransNet, CRAFT, VietOCR.

• Vector search algorithms: Faiss, Elasticsearch, NGT, qDrant, Annoy.

• Frontend: Fast API, JavaScript.

Smart Attendance Monitoring System (IoT) Github Sep 2023 - Oct 2023 Description: Develop an automatic student attendance system with RFID card scanning to enhance attendance management in schools saving time for teachers and students. The system records entry and exit times using RFID card readers, sending data to a server. Design website allows administrators and lecturers to remotely track and analyze attendance. My responsibilities:

• Build a website that can visualize data from the database so that lecturers and administrators can remotely track and analyze attendance.

Technology Description:

• Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

• Database: MariaDB.

• Device: RC522, Raspberry Pi3.
