OBJECTIVE:

EXPERIENCE:
** ***** ** ********** *n Electrical Discipline preparing detail plan drawings for construction phase of lighting, Power distribution, Overhead, grounding, instrumentation and Fiber Optics.
Electrical BIM Coordinator – Coordinate with General Contractor and other trades Mechanical Duct, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, Fire Protection & Electrical. Detect Clashes/Hits with other disciplines with the Revit 22, MEP Autocad and Navis and BlueBeam Programs, in the construction of the Harbor-UCLA Hospital, Long Beach Civic Center, USC Village, Dodger Stadium. Prepare Conduit runs for Seismic contractor and for OSHPD Approval.
Layout Power systems design and operation through multiple electrical design projects from power distribution upgrades to maintenance activities for refineries such as Exxon/Mobil, Chevron El Segundo, BP Carson, ConocoPhillips and Tosco.
Electrical/Fiber Optic Design – Provide design support for Fiber Optic Design, run and size all conduits with proper fitting and supports. Provide installation details for mounting of conduits and Wall/Rack mounted racks. Terminate all F.O. cables at Fiber Optic Patch panels and provide termination drawing.
Commercial and Residential Buildings layout Coordinate with Architects for latest RCP’s and Electrical Engineer for Power requirements. Download/Post cad files on Architects FTP website. Provide Power and Lighting Design with branch circuiting, Panel Schedules. Supervise up to 7 Cad Drafters, issue them work and adhere to estimated hours back check work and submit finish work to Project Engineer.
Provide design support for construction site. Troubleshoot electrical design problems during construction phase. Maintain open communication with customer and coordination between construction personal and design team to assure quality installation.
Excellent working relationships with management, peers, customers & contractors. Work well in a team oriented atmosphere.
CAD Coordinator - Provide support for designer & cad operators, maintain cad procedures & standards, interface with design disciplines to ensure standardization of cad drawings. Proficient in the use of Revit 22, Autocad, Autocad MEP 3d & Microstation, Navis and Revit
