As the Director of the HUD/RD Administration Department I am the company liaison with HUD, Contract Administrators and Rural Development to ensure there is a positive working relationship throughout Royal American Management. I provide knowledge, support and consultation to site managers and staff, regional managers, executives and owners regarding current regulations, rules and statutes pertaining to properties subject to Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Rural Development (RD) compliance. Ability to consult, meet and maintain HUD and RD compliance. Ensure that properties are maintaining program requirements that are set by HUD, local governments, and other entities to maintain compliance for affordable communities, responsible for compliance with state, county, and federal funding programs. Oversee a team of three employees and make sure all deadlines are met, provide phone and email support for properties, managers, regional managers, etc. relating to compliance issues; assist in training field staff; enter and track data in Microsoft excel spreadsheets. assist in obtaining the required information for property takeovers. Prepare HAP Contract Renewals for HUD properties, annual budgets for RD properties, audit HUD files. EIV Coordinator
