Nursing skills include teaching, whether it is to patients or to patient’s family members, but I have also had multiple roles in teaching other nurses over the years. I have been a “Super User” when the hospitals enacted new EHRs. I have precepted many new nurses, Charge Nurses and educated multiple subjects, such as TPA use, ACLS, BLS, ICP, balloon pumps and other monitoring equipment used in critical care patients.
