Answered 911 and Non-Emergency calls for service, and entered data into a Computer Aided Dispatch system for squad response or closed compliant ( call handled). Via Helped train new employees when requested. For about 5 years, occasionally helped in the Department mail room, when regular employee was off. It entailed processing incoming and outgoing mail, picked up and dropped off mail to all 7 Police districts, and other Police buildings, also Post Office. Other duties at request of Supervisors.
Left in Aug of 2017, due to health reasons.

Started as a Receptionist, moved to Accounts Payable about a year or so later. Left in August of 1997 to care for terminally ill mother. Came back in Nov of 1997 in the factory, making parts for under the counter refrigerators. Transferred to Parts Dept. about 6 months later, packing parts for the Shipping Dept. to ship out. Transferred to Shipping data entry in April of 1999 temporarily. Went back to the factory a few months later, until 3/2000, when I took the Emergency Communications Operator job with MPDStarted as a Receptionist, moved to Accounts Payable about a year or so later.
