as Quality Control

5:00 am - as soon as I clock in I go straight into Receiving inspection to check what we have in the inventory that we need to inspect.

● I always make sure I do the highest quantity and longest time in the inventory for the production to have continuation on there building the product. 6 am to 5:30 am

● I am doing the measurement using tools like Micrometer, caliper, gages, and Measure mind (OGP) system to make sure that the blueprint or the Quality of the product is passing the Company specifications.

● •I make sure that if I see discrepancies or failures in products or parts that I was checking I will initiate (NCR) non-conformance report.

● As of today, my job is being modified because we have a new product which is Cannula over mold and it’s located inside the clean room to make sure the product is not contaminated.

5:00 am to 5:30 pm

● I am checking the part using a microscope for visual inspection to make ensure that the part is passing our specifications.

● After the visual inspection is done I will run the Routine using the OGP system and using gages the Go-Go and No-Go for ensuring that the part is meeting the blueprint specification.

● I am collaborating with engineers and R&D to provide recommendations related to the product processes.

● Since I'm the first person to do this project the cannula and I have more experience and knowledge doing the inspection and I’m responsible for providing training to a Quality assurance supervisor, lead QA, the QA, and QC inspectors team related to the visual and measurement of the project. I work in the cleanroom as a quality assurance doing final inspections to ensure the product's quality is passing the standard of the company and initiating nonconformance reports if there are any discrepancies or failures in the product. My day to day

as Quality assurance

5:00 am - I start my day by checking my email to make sure that I’m up to speed with what’s happening in the company.

5:30 am - We have a team meeting with our supervisor. 5:35 am - I will do my walkthrough inside the clean room, to make sure everybody is following the company guidelines.

6:30 am - Perform In-process, Final Inspection, and Final Approval of Product.

● Reviews and approves manufacturing Design History Records(DHRs), associated test reports, and records and reports abnormalities

● Verifies training and other records for compliance with specifications.

● Assist with resolving non-conformances occurring with in-process and finished products.

● Provides quality oversight of the manufacturing process/final packaging

● Updates department spreadsheets and statistics.

● Assist in revising DHR’s work instructions, and SOPs.

● Maintains department documentation and inventory of retained materials.

● Reviews and approves manufacturing records such as test reports and 5S log sheets. 2:00 pm- assist with calibration/preventive maintenance (PM) program.

● Checks PM log books on manufacturing equipment for completeness and accuracy.

● Verifies are equipment is within calibration specifications. 4:00 pm- I will do my walk-through again.

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm- Checking my email and my training to make sure I know what’s happening in the Company.
