Position: Senior Post Press Assistant
As a Senior Post Press Assistant I was constantly on the move; programming the machinery to process, and assemble the daily newspaper. I coordinated with my team to ensure that all inserts, adds, and specials were properly loaded and distributed. My diligent attention to detail, and excellent communication skills were vital to ensuring that our products are consistently of the highest quality; and were always out to our readers on time. In addition to these responsibilities I assisted in the operation of our Mailer, which addresses our outgoing product for shipping; and assisted in the operation of our Binder machine.
I am a flexible and efficient employee. During a typical day I ensured that we met our deadlines and quality standards by matching dates and times to their appropriate product runs. I worked closely with my supervisor, and our team to get the job done in a efficient and timely manner. At each step of the process I kept an eye towards quality assurance, while still maintaining a high rate of production.
I was considered a great asset to my team due to my ability to multi-task, and quickly integrate new policies and procedures into standard practice. I always arrive on time, with a smile on my face, and ready to work.
