I would do normal everyday handyman services, but first I would always have to meet the customer and make a bid to possibly get the job, if I win the bid, I schedule a time and date to perform contracted work. I would direct the flow of concrete throughout the plant, making sure every concrete structure was poured and correct! I was the heart of the plant and controlled 95% of the production. What area was first by importance, color, size, weather, and when it was to be shipped, I supervised 15 people and their safety, whether they worked, stayed busy, went home, and got overtime. The concrete mixer I controlled was a multimillion dollar piece of extraordinary machinery that was my responsibility, and I took that responsibility extremely seriously and with pride and honor! I would watch computers for any alarms, shovel rock and sand from building up, and make sure all structures are poured, complete, stenciled, and numbered with correct info! I would operate the huge fork lifts to move the concrete structures around the yard, load trucks, unload trucks, and move any other objects around the plant. Place structures in the staging area to be loaded on trucks, in correct weight order! I operate the front-end loader to fill the hoppers with sand and stone, clean up big messes, pick up trash loads, pick up broken or incorrect structures and take them to the recycle plant behind the plant to be ground up and recycled. Clean, jackhammer, chip concrete from buildup inside the mixer, pressure wash the mixer every night. Do maintenance on mixer, grease all moving parts, oil all oiled parts, make sure everything is in complete working condition, report problems, log any issues. Work with all other employees. Shut down the entire mixer system and alarms. Make sure all gates are closed and locked. Make sure everyone is out of the plant. Turn off all lights and power, lock up last door, close and lock last gate. Head home.
