Experience:

Winchester Hospital

Volunteer

I volunteered at the hospital and I was needed for transporting patients around the hospital for testing and transporting medicine, specimens, STAT equipment… Aria Couture

Sales Leader / Keyholder

I was responsible for helping customers find the perfect dress for their events and caring for the store. I opened and closed the store and handled money and very expensive dresses. I trained new employees and dealt with the deposits.

Osteria Nino

Waitress

I began this job as a hostess and worked my way up to serving and running food. I worked full-time and closed the restaurant at night. I also helped with event planning at the restaurant and communicating with customers making events and gatherings. Kmart

Cashier

I began at Kmart in 2016 as a cashier and it was my first paying job. I loved working at Kmart and speaking to hundreds of customers a day. While working at Kmart my motto was “no customer will ever leave my register without smiling at least once” and I achieved my goal of making everyone smile. I started to help the ladies in soft lines to clean and organize the store and make it more presentable to customers and that was extremely fun for me. I always wanted to move up to customer service but never got the chance before leaving. Kneipp (German Skincare store)

Assistant Manager

I was hired at Kneipp as an assistant manager and was responsible for opening and closing the store and depositing the money every night. I did a mid-week recap every week along with conference calls, marketing plans, scheduling employees, top and bottom employee tracking…etc. I was responsible for keeping the store uniform with all other locations and keeping my co-workers happy and hard working. I am young for management; however I am very responsible for my age and have been taking business courses and accounting classes in school and have been very focused on making this my future. Soon after being hired my store manager left and so did all other associates, which left me alone. My district manager was saying they may have to close the store down if no one would work and I told him to tell me what had to be done and I would do it. I then became the store manager and soul employee of the store and was working 84 hours a week at 18 years old. I ran the store all by myself and I loved it!

Arhaus Furniture

Design Consultant

After leaving Kneipp to go to college, I decided I had enough time to work full time without 84 hours a week. I got a call from Arhaus asking if I wanted a job because they had spoken to my DM and he thought I would be a great fit. I started there in January of 2019 and soon after my store manager was out on maternity leave. Before she left she gave me some of her weekly responsibilities to complete while she was gone. This has been by far my favorite place of work! Arhaus was a great environment and I had a great time learning to sell better and meeting new people everyday!

Leslies Poolmart

Store Manager

After leaving Arhaus I decided to take a bit of a break from larger stores and worked for a pool store. I was alone at this job open to close which was nice for me to still do the same amount of work but be able to work hand in hand with my district manager and get a better feel for managing a store alone without the assistance of other employees. I worked over full time and did bank runs, water testing, employee training district wide, kept my store neat and clean, ordered product as needed…etc. I ended up leaving this job after a few months due to medical issues.

Skills:

Customer service has been a good place for me because I am very comfortable talking to customers and employees and keeping good communication around the work place. I have always acted older than I am and have always been able to speak with people older than me better than people my own age. I am also a very quick learner and am also tech savvy. On top of this I was in DECA in high school and had to write a 40 page paper and create an hour long presentation on a business of my choice. I decided to make my presentation on Kmart and why they were closing stores and what they needed to do in order to turn around and help the business thrive again. I won a $36,000 scholarship from this presentation and got to present it to both entrepreneurs and businessman that specialize in purchasing businesses and refurbishing them to the best they can be. Interests:

I want to become an accountant and business manager and eventually become a venture capitalist. I love the idea of bettering a business and sending it in the right direction. I enjoy making people smile and laugh and no matter what it is that I do in life I want the people around me to be happy. I also am 1 of 6 kids and am the oldest so I have great experience with kids and responsibility for sure.
