2001 – 2018 – Make Ready Maintenance, Inc. San Ramon, CA

General Contractor specializing in the restoration of multiple family apartment building in San Francisco Bay Area, constructed numerous restaurants and delicatessens, seismic restoration work as specified by local building authorities, demolition of existing foundations of pre-1974 buildings, constructed new concrete foundation to specifications set by civil and structural engineers, construction of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) for additional habitation and constructed seismically related concrete beams and walls. Responsible for the inspection, proposal submissions, bidding, supervision of all projects, managing several in-field supervisors and project managers in the multi-family, commercial and industrial industries.

Responsible for over 100 labor, management and office personnel. Over 2,200 projects completed during tenure.

1989 – 2000 – The All Seal Kompany Pleasanton, CA

General Contractor and Waterproofing firm specializing in the renovation of multifamily dwellings, apartment buildings, hospitals, City governments, airport hangers’ concrete slabs and aprons, airport hangar metal roof coatings and retail tenant improvements. Responsible for the acquisition of new Clients both residential and commercial. Provided written documents including scope of work, specifications, manufacturer’s involvement of technical data and direct involvement with manufacturers regional representatives. Completed more than 1,500 renovations of apartments, closely worked with Regional managers of large industrial firms on waterproofing needs both above and below grade and trained workman on specialized equipment and materials as specified by manufacturers.

1980 – 1988 – W.P. Hickman Systems Pleasanton, CA

Recruited by high end manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing materials. Headed up the San Francisco region with responsibilities to manage new and existing Clients, cultivate new prospects, produce installation of built up roof (BUR) systems, organized hundreds of bid and job walks with numerous qualifying Contractors, selling of high-end materials to the roofing market and managing each project using manufacturers materials. Typical Clientele were government agencies, unified school districts, manufacturing plants of organic and inorganic products, roofing contractors, multiple family property Ownership for waterproofing systems, and numerous California and Nevada airports.

1976 – 1979 – Kennedy Plumbing Santa Ana, CA

Apprentice for mechanical engineering for residential and commercial plumbing. Performed numerous duties including running gas, water, and sewer lines in rough and finish work. Became proficient in operating backhoes, Bobcat, skip loaders, trenchers, and various other forms of excavating and engineering related equipment. Proficient in drawing and reading Architectural drawings, specifications of job materials, headed rough out crews as foreman.

Studied Architectural technology and construction management.

1979 – present – On-going management development through various skills seminars for management, sales and marketing.

Over three decades of performing, participating and demonstrating multiple aspects of the construction industry through many of the affiliations as a member.
