Packed deliveries together to give to the customers that order ahead of time. Greeted customers as they were coming into the store. Loaded and unloaded goods from the truck and brought them into the store to sort out and package. Paper and office work, organizing order numbers, making sure they were given to the right customer and had all the items they ordered. Attended customers that came in the store and formed bonds with them and their community and would see them regularly return to the store.

SEASONAL STAFF, camp owaissa bauer (miami-dade parks and rec)

With my first year working at the county parks my main role was to provide the greatest customer service to the children who attend the camp. This job required me to think on my feet and think critically. When problems arise, it was my duty to defuse the situations and mediate with not only the kids but with parents as well. As a seasonal staff I also led group activities and programs.

With the promotion of being a recreational leader my responsibilities changed. I went from having a group of kids to observing and supervising activities and the staff. Seeing if they were providing top quality customer service to the kids. Considering that parents pay for their kids to attend the camp and want their children to have a pleasant experience. My job required me to make sure our staff were providing amazing customer service. With this promotion I was also required to do office work that consisted of organizing receipts and putting them in the record books.

SEASONAL ASSOCIATE, bath and body works (galleria mall)

When I first moved here to Georgia, I had realized that the mall needed workers for the holidays. This job consisted of collaborating with customers to answer their questions about products and determine their needs. Along with ensuring the greatest customer service, my job also required me to organize the merchandise from delivery trucks and store them in the back so that when it was in season, we stocked them in the store. My job requiring me to manage shipment, stocking, and operating the POS system when I would be called in to oversee the cashier when the holidays came around and we were short staffed.

JUNE 21ST – JULY 6TH 2024

WAREHOUSE WORKER, PHANTOM FIREWORKS (KEY LARGO)

While working at Phantom Fireworks I applied to be a warehouse worker. My job consisted of organizing thousands of fireworks in the warehouse in preparation of the season to come. While working at Phantom I obtained my forklift certification and from then my job became to move thousands of pounds of the explosives from the containers to the warehouse to be organized. While I did work in the warehouse I also stocked the store and provided service to the customers that came in the store seeking help.

EDUCATION

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, south dade senior high school

Graduated top 15% of my entire senior class that consisted of 723 students and with an unweighted GPA of 3.5. Was an honor student throughout all 4 years of high school while also playing three sports. I also took college credit classes that helped further my critical thinking skills later in life. I am also bilingual, speaking Spanish fluently and being able to read and write. Upon that I received awards such as ALL-DADE athletes’ which is a recognition done by the Miami Herald that recognizes the top athletes in the county. I am now continuing my academic and sport career at Central Georgia Technical College at Warner Robins playing for their women’s basketball team.
