Throughout my career of over 25 years, I have supported various employers and clients as a lead software developer/architect and successfully completed over 20 bespoke projects from ideation to deployment. I utilized my skill set and experience in requirements gathering, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS Oracle), application architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, enhancements, and operational support.

Technical Lead / Product Developer March 2024 – PRESENT

Developing a product to migrate legacy applications data into Oracle E-Business Suite ERP product. This involves mapping data between legacy applications and Oracle ERP for AR, AP, GL and PO modules. Also using Informatica transformations. This product is currently being tested and modifying the SQL, PL/SQL scripts for performance improvement. As a result of using this product data migration time can be reduced by more than 50%.

For the client, TIAA (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America), I gathered the requirements for new applications and enhancements for the existing applications (Retirement plans, annuities, IRA, and personal loans).

Prepared the requirements documents and reviewed them with the subject matters experts and incorporated them and updated the acceptance criteria.

Oracle database design for new and enhancements for current applications.

Prepared ERD, logical and physical design.

Created schemas and generated scripts to create database objects.

Senior Technical Consultant, Echostar Communications Jan. 1999- Dec. 2010

During this period supported Oracle ERP applications and Custom application Dealer Incentive Compensation for Echostar Communications.

I architected an enterprise application called ‘Dealers Incentive Compensation’. This application is very crucial for the success of Dish Network. Implemented all the phases of SDLC.

Requirements gathering, Schema design, PL/SQL scripts, and ERD.

I supported this application from the first subscriber to millions of subscribers.

Collaborated with senior management in forecasting and capacity analysis of future database growth needs and processes performance.

One of the challenges that I faced was continuously improving performance and implementing new business rules and promotions in 2 to 3 business days. For this purpose, I made the application very flexible and parameterized. For these promotions I interacted with senior management, and I gave my input on how long it takes to implement and suggested new promotions.

This application is interfaced with Oracle e-Business Suite modules. Subscribers are customers in Account Receivables (AR) modules and dealers are suppliers in Account Payables (AP) modules.
