Be A Caregiver
I want to be a caregiver
because I love helping
others. I took care of my
grandparents that raised
me when they became
unable to care fully on
themselves. For my
grandpa it was dementia
Alzheimerʼs and early on set
of dementia. My grandma
was diagnosed with stage
four non-Hodgkinʼs
lymphoma where I stood in
as her primary caregiver
helped right along the side
of hospice. I also recently
took the last year and a half
off of work to stay home
and care for my paraplegic
uncle that needed 24 hour
care also towards the end
worked right along the side
of hospice. Serving others is
what I enjoy to do. Acting as
someoneʼs caregiver gives
me a purpose and drive to
make their last days their
best days.
