Corporate Financing Department – Compliance Supervisor April 1999 – Present

Oversee daily processing of all electronic filings received in the Corporate Financing Department and assist with Compliance staff coverage. Exclusively verify filings fees by comparing the securities registered with the SEC and POS. Initiate telephone contact with member’s counsel, issuer, etc., to request additional information regarding incomplete filings, filing fees, etc. Respond to general questions concerning FINRA rules governing fees and filing requirements via POS, and communicate effectively with analyst and senior staff. Respond to inquiries from issuers, members and their counsel on the status of offerings submitted in POS, e.g. verify receipt of documents and correspondence. Assist the Business Analyst in producing user-defined reports (UDRs) and/or standard reports compiling monthly statistics for senior management, assist all Department areas in analyzing timeliness and accuracy of workload and workflow efficiency, and analyze system data to ensure fields are properly populated in POS. Participate in the phases of software development of Department systems to include documenting software change requests (SCRs), user acceptance testing, and updating training materials.
