Restructured a procurement and materials organization for a nuclear power plant construction project after 7 top people were fired

Founder and partner in company formed in 2007 for the purpose of purchasing, renovating and selling homes as well as for doing renovations for owner clients. Responsible for all aspects of finance, design, construction management.

Managing Principal, Southern Retirement Services, LLC and Integrity Properties, LLC; 1996-2008

Co-founder of two partnerships involved in senior living development and child care development. Responsible for all phases of development, construction and facility operations.

(Georgia Power Company)

Managing Director, Georgia Communities Initiative; 1993-1996

Started and directed this new initiative for Georgia Power aimed at developing affordable housing in communities throughout the state using investments in Low Income Housing Tax Credits as well as other financing tools.

Vice President - Procurement & Materials; 1989-93

Responsible for 200+ people involved in purchasing, inventory management, investment recovery and contracting for over $1 billion of annual purchases and $400 million inventory.

District Manager, Tucker District (training assignment); 1992

Managed all aspects of operations for 82,000 customers, including accounting/billing, metering, installation and maintenance of distribution lines, engineering and marketing.

Special Assistant to the CEO (special assignment); 1991

Managed the operation of the 1991 Metro Atlanta United Way campaign that raised $54 million.

Managed a 150+ person department responsible for $400 million of inventory and 80 locations throughout the State of Georgia.
