*Developed two bearing product lines from concept through patents, marketing, and customer partnering creating record gauge control in strip metals rolling and low vibration in large rotating equipment such as pumps, special turbines, wind generators, etc. Early applications included multi-million dollar orders from Alcoa, GE, and Fluor.

*Conceived, then launched, a $15M (first-year) service/repair business unit for bearings in large equipment for metals manufacturing and electric utilities.

*Worked, for one year, in a Timken developmental partner company, developing products and multi-million-dollar business volume in target industries/applications including DOD battlefield robot applications (partnering with Carnegie Mellon, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and others), proprietary very-low-NVH/high-output gear drives for remote-control aircraft (partnering with Lockheed Martin, USAF Wright-Patterson, Foster-Miller, and Boeing), low-noise transmissions design, assembly, and controls for the Segway HT (Kaman Industries), and testing/certification/R&D services for Emerson Electric/Copeland Corporation compressors and motors, Harley-Davidson transmissions, and Johnson & Johnson personal mobility vehicles.
