Monitor technician:

• Electrocardiography Monitor Technician: responsible for the continuous observation of the cardiac monitor, recognition of cardiac arrhythmias, and documentation of monitor strips.

• Scheduling all patients Diagnostic tests, appointments, and consults, upon direction of physician or RN.

• Co-coordinating all logistics of patients transfer and discharge, including checking on family notification, transportation, equipment, prescription, and follow-up appointments.

• Transcribing medical data into Clinical systems for processing.
