Samsung – Verizon project

Experience in Samsung USM, (Unified System Management) One Vision, and S-RCT tools. Migration of sites from FSM4 Air-Scale NOKIA to SAMSUNG CDU and FSU.

Daily integration of Samsung oRAN / vRAN radios (Macro 4G, 5G - FDD & TDD, CBRS, Small Cell) both Low band 700 and 850/MHz and high band 1900, 2100 & CBRS/3500/MHz.

Daily FSU bypass and integration with new Samsung CDU units.

Checking the site-specific data RFDS (Radio Frequency Data Sheet) and on site plumbing for the removal of old Nokia radios and installation of Samsung Radios.

Perform system verification & monitoring through virtual EMS to find the problems and resolve them.

Analyzing & troubleshooting Network alarms such as RF Path Failures RSSI/VSWR and also Cabling /RX Power Levels /Hardware/SW & FW alarms and submit daily reports for newly commissioned sites.

RAN Integration/ Commissioning Engineer Jan 2021 – OCT 2022

Decommissioning of Nokia & Samsung macro-RAN products.

The Samsung site contains BBU (Base Band Units) for LTE (2.5/1900 FDD/800 FDD) and, BBU for CDMA (1900/800) which require separate decommissioning reporting actions.

Verifying all the site information to make sure that decommissioning occurs on the right LTE/eNodeB & CDMA/BTS

Running Pre-checks for both technologies LTE & CDMA

Making backup/PLD file for both LTE & CDMA in case we need to regrow it

Communicate with FT & RF before proceeding with the logical disconnect of the site

Deactivate MMEs & RS IP on LTE and BTS-IP addresses from CDMA.

Sprint

Commissioning and Integration of 4G (FDD and TDD) for Samsung cell sites CDU10, CDU20 and CDU30.

Configuring neighbors, eCSFB, and upgrading SW and FW.

Using CDMA in order to perform 3G pre and post-checks.
