I was a lead over the forklift drivers in the stocking department. Spent two full years as the lead including two peak seasons managing the team of 30 forklift drivers. My impact was getting the work done in an efficient and timely manner and making sure that I communicated with each department as needed. I was also impactful for the company during non-peak seasons being the lead of a team that performed big projects.

My job as a Trainer/Lead was to show new incoming associates how to perform the job in a timely and professional manner. Me being bilingual had a huge impact on the company I was able to help coworkers communicate with other associates and managers as help needed.

On-Site Manager

My job as an On-Site Manager was to manage over 23 associates at the site. As part of being an On-Site I was responsible for sending reports to the managers and clients. Such as starter shift report, on premise report, and end of day report. I also had to put in new associates into the system when needed. I know how to work with Kronos due to having to check the associates times.

PROJECTS & EXTRACURRICULAR

Restock Lead

As part of the restock project at William Sonoma I was given the role of the lead to perform the exercises that needed to be done before peak season. In part of being the lead I had to separate associates and arrange them in groups, hand out work orders and make sure a certain amount gets done by the end of the shifts, also made sure all the old products were removed and new product was stocked for peak season so that it was ready for pickers to pick.

Leadership experience

The experience I gained from this is that it takes all to work as a team and complete tasks. Also, I learned to communicate and support with resources needed to help them adapt to tasks given.

SKILLS

Programming languages: I am bilingual can fluently speak English and Spanish. I am helpful to anybody, and a great problem solver. I have very strong leadership skills in me allowing me to expand my skills. Lastly, I am willing to learn anything new.

Languages: I can fluently speak English and Spanish. I am a member of the Seal of biliteracy taken during my high school years.
