OBJECTIVE:

I desire a position that will utilize my years of “business” experience, and exceptional “people skills,” in both office and retail environments. I've enjoyed public interactions for decades. SKILLS:

I have a pleasant, happy disposition with a friendly attitude. I work well under pressure, with little to no supervision, am very attentive to detail and am a follow-through person. I'm a self- starter, problem solver, etc. I am motivated and willing to learn new skills! Excellent phone skills and grammar. I work well in a “team” environment and/or alone. Teach/show me what to do, and I'll get it done.

BACKGROUND:

I have at least 30 years in the “business world,” as a teller, receptionist, numerous types of secretaries, including legal and escrow. I've been an administrative assistant. I worked overseas and held a Confidential and then a Secret Clearance with the Navy as a civilian. I had a California State Real Estate Sales License from December 1989 until December 2010. Texas wouldn't reciprocate – (not going back to CA.) - but needed to start from scratch. I helped sponsor and worked in First-Time Buyer Seminars as a Mortgage Broker. RETAIL: I've worked at least fifteen years in Jewelry Sales, both for independent jewelers as well as for SIGNET Jewelers - Jared's, Kay's and Zale's - the first time for Jared's from 2000 – 2004 in California. I sold mattresses mattresses for about five years, both for Sleep Number in California, and Sleep America in Arizona. In 2022, when I moved back to Texas, I sold furniture for Star Furniture and Mattress, in Pflugerville, until I moved about 50 miles away, expecting to find a more local job. Well, I'm presently working for Mega Furniture in Round Rock, but really need more income. I've been working for over 60 years! WORK HISTORY:
