EXPERIENCE

**/**/**** – 12/12/2021

STAFF RN/RELIEF CHARGE, MVHS/ST LUKES HOSPITAL, UTICA NY Started on telemetry/ Special Care Unit which became Intermediate Care Unit (step down Unit) in comprehensive stroke center. The last few years worked on NVU (ICU Step Down neurovascular unit specialized mainly in the care of acute stroke patients). At the same time, I worked as relief charge nurse and served as preceptor for new staff members. Also, I was on the rapid response team through the hospital. I picked up extra time through the hospital to cover staff shortages on other floors such as regular tele, med surgical floor and ICU. Through all those years I was taking care of various patients requiring upper level of care. I was on first line administering IV tPA and some other drips for stroke/neuro patients experiencing acute strokes. I am experienced in recognizing stroke symptoms, acting appropriately and monitoring those patients during and post IV tPa administration (recently switched to tNK). I have been taking care of patients post various neuro vascular interventions such as (but not limited to) brain aneurysm coiling, thrombectomies, DSA, ICA stenting, endarterectomies and so on. I am proficient in cardiac rhythms interpretations, titrating drips such as Cardizem, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Agatroban, Cleviprex, Insulin

(Glucomander management), Precedex, Phenylephrine, hypertonic saline and other medications required for stabilization and treatment of those patients, including vasopressors and sedation to some extent. I have experience with high flow O2 delivery systems such as Vapotherm, Neptune, also Bipaps, vents and A-lines.
