I have 44 credits towards an ASN, I also have 3+ years as a private caregiver, working with dementia/ Alzheimer's patients, hospice care, and end of life care. I also have life experience, with family members that had/have drug addiction, alcoholism, and bipolar I disorder. I graduated from the Tennessee School of Applied Technology August, 2022. I have worked with TBI patients and most recently with a private contractor for Broward County Publuc Schools. In January 2024, my mother contracted Covid and is bed bound. I had to take a leave of absence since January 26, 2024. I have had to monitor continuous oxygen, assist with bathing and use of bedpan, check and treat skin integrity. I am caring, compassionate, patient, and empathetic. I have dealt, in my job experience, with dementia/Alzheimer's patients, and a variety of acute and non acute situations in the Broward County school system. I am also the daughter of a polio patient, and I am a sibling of a spastic paraplegic Cerebral Palsy patient. During my childhood I helped to care for this sibling, which consisted of toileting, bathing, and all other ADL's.
