External Manufacturing Performance Manager - 2015- 2018

●Managed the manufacturing of Ceva’s pharmaceutical products in North America through Contract Manufacturers Organizations (CMO). This included involvement with 7 different CMO’s manufacturing sites. Involved in CMO selection, contract negotiation, contract management and CMO performance assessment.

●Responsible of the Implementation of Operational Excellence Methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma and Industrial Engineering) on new drugs developmental and clinical studies operations, solid dose manufacturing, laboratories, and packaging operations. Worked on the scale up of new drugs from the developmental phase to full commercial production, including process validation and continuous process monitoring (Process Capability). Operations Excellence Manager - 2007- 2011

●Conducted process improvement projects in the antigen production formulation, filling, packaging, and testing areas using Lean Manufacturing (Value Stream Maps analysis, Kanban, Standard Work, TPM, SMED, 5S, FMEA, Visual Management) and Six Sigma techniques. These initiatives led to savings of up to $6 MM and 3.5M in backorder reduction. Led 30 Kaizen events and several rapid action teams. Assessment of the economic value of the improvements.

●Developed a production performance measurement system, including productivity, quality, and equipment usage indicators (OEE)

●Implemented statistical data analysis and simulations to optimize operations in end-to-end supply chains.

●Conducted operational performance diagnostics in three plants in the US and in three plants in Europe with an external consultant
