I Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.
I worked in excel creating graphs and charts.
Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage. Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. I Verified materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and obvious damages; route materials to prescribed storage locations; stores, stacks or palletizes material in accordance with prescribed storage methods. I Assist with inventory, evaluation of general property. Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment. Select storage location and record selected location on inventory worksheets. Forward appropriate paperwork to supervisor for review. I Maintain tools, equipment, and facilities to include government furnished property and equipment.
I Assist in remitting, transferring, and releasing property. Support sales activities. Pick up, transport and deliver parts, material, equipment and components to pre-determined destinations. Assist with loading and unloading of material being transported.
I perform limited aspects of technical supply management work, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.
Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty.

Maintains statistical database for all supply transactions in order to measure effectiveness of the supply operation.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Work is performed in a shop environment that is moderately lighted, heated and ventilated, is exposed to disagreeable fumes and to cuts and bruises from using tools in close placed and hazards of moving vehicles such as forklifts and sweepers in shop area.
Im required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.

I operated various types of equipment, such as computer scanning equipment, addressographs, mimeographs, optical character readers and bar code sorters. I sorted odd sized mail by hand.
I sorted mail that other workers have been unable to sort and segregate items requiring special handling. I load and unload mail trucks. I lifted containers of mail onto equipment that transports items to sorting stations. I dumped sacks of mail onto conveyors for culling and sorting. I must follow safe work practices by keeping their work areas free of debris such as plastic and cardboard used to package the merchandise they stock. I must be knowledgeable about safety and emergency procedures. I work well with minimal supervision and must work well in a team. I must be flexible to accommodate varying freight flows and customer demands.
I have basic mathematics skills, which includes adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. I also must have reading skills. I must be able to consistently lift objects that weight about 50 lbs. or more. I must be prepared to walk and move constantly, bend and twist their bodies and squat to reach stock areas. In addition, mail sorters should be able to perform tasks involving firm grasping and should be able to reach above the shoulder and below the waste without trouble. I often work weekends and holidays as well. Check incoming shipments of mail by comparing item names and identification numbers with receiving reports, and by opening, counting, and visually checking contents of containers. Report averages, shortages, or damaged items. Stores mail in established locations, and sets up specific locations for new items, considering such factors as the use, size, shape, weight, and similar nomenclature of items.
