●Successfully reverse engineered a mainly Looker based Advanced Analytics UI so that it could be enhanced and maintained, while running a team to deliver new content.

●Converted the UI from AngularJs to Angular to React and the PHP to microservices. Solved a major problem for the company developing a PHP passthrough using NGINX and PHP to help the UI developers reach the new microservices.

●Sustained UI servers across the world with Kubernetes, PHP, MYSQL, and Angular.

Senior Software Developer, Feb 2018 – Jan 2021

●Created a scalable, secure Cloud API and UI system with Kubernetes on GCP and AWS, JavaScript, Python and NodeJS.

●Created a light but visually captivating UI in HTML and JavaScript for the GS111 Sequencing Instrument running on an embedded processor with a Python back end that could and did run on a Raspberry PI.

●Architected and improved the performance and security of all APIs. Achieved performance below a fraction of a second for APIs using Python with Django and MySQL.

●Improved build performance by designing and building an AOT build system, a Restore, Upgrade and Migrate flow for the successful 6.5 Angular 1 VCSA Installer and vCenter Appliance Management Interface (VAMI). The Installer was built inside Electron which enables packaging of web technology in a sandbox and NodeJS enabled executable.

●Created a Restore, Upgrade and Migrate flow for the 6.7 VCSA Installer in Angular 6, a caching system, and a Networking interface for VAMI connected to Java REST services using the Clarity component system.

●Developed a suite of NodeJS generated HTML ‘FinApps’ used by most big financial institutions including an award winning Cash Flow App which I personally built for HSBC

●Won an award for internationalizing Yodlee and enabling them to reach a global audience.
