Quality Inspector August 2020- Current

Inspection of detailed measurements and depths in accordance with operation sheets per vision, making sure all seal slots and holes are in their correct location. Manual checks with calibrated gauges, assuring the quality of our customer’s product and needs. Working with Engineers/QE to prove out new Vision/CMM programs. Managing all calibrated fixtures and gauges within the whole inspection area. Also certified in Airflow, CFA certified, I’m also able to run the CMM machines and manual checks per operation/blueprints. I also know how to laser mark all serial number on incoming castings through finished markings.

Laser Drill April 2018 – Current

Responsible for drilling holes into double vane segments and deburring excessive splatter from the machine, Finalizing the parts per customer requirements.

Laser Weld April 2019- August 2020

Prep and tac inserts and plates with detail to operation instructions while preparing parts for welding operations. Welding of parts using the parameters set by the operation instructions and verifying the quality of the welds.

Deburr/Parts Wash October 2015- April 2019

Making sure all parts are free from burrs and all break edges meet customer’s criteria, prioritizing all parts coming through Deburr to meet the customer’s needs, using an air turbine tool, making sure the part is at quality standards for the customer, and making sure all hardware goes out in a timely manner. Part washing is also important so that the operators can perform their job and production is running on time and the process is efficient
