Responsibilities include physical exams, annual wellness exams, prescribing and interpreting labs, prescribing wound care, performing MMSE, ordering and reviewing screening tests, prescribing and interpreting MRI, CT, X-ray reports and other imaging modalities, reviewing medications, prescribing new medications based on the presenting diagnosis, making necessary adjustments to patients medication treatment regimens as needed, referring to specialists as needed, prescribing physical therapy, occupational therapy, following up with patients in order to determine patient’s treatment progress and make necessary adjustments in future treatment plan if needed.
