Panniculectomy Research
The study in progress will attempt to show a correlation between the surgical procedure, panniculectomy, and a decrease in stress incontinence as well as subjective improvement in the patients’ perceived health. Currently collecting pre and post-operative subjective data from patients utilizing the SF-36 and additional questions regarding stress incontinence as well as objective data from patient visits and operative reports. 2011-2013, Research Project
Is The Use Of Animal Assisted Therapy/Activity Effective In Improving Quality Of Life Through Self-Efficacy, Self-Perceived Health, Sense Of Coherence And Mood? The study followed outpatients of newly diagnosed cancer, psychological disorders or elderly age in long-term care receiving animal assisted activity or therapy during variable time courses spanning 4 to 12 weeks. The focus was on the possible improvement in quality of life which was measured through a variety of self-report scales.
