Personal Statement

I have been a caregiver and CNA for over 35 years off and on. I enjoy my work. I am a hard worker and get along with all types of people. I am dependable and responsible. I follow directions well. I’ve taken care of Down syndrome adults. I’ve also worked acute care, skilled care, with Alzheimer patients, Home Health and Hospice.

Work Experience

Certified Nursing Assistant (May 2020- July 2021)

Memorial Medical Center Springfield, IL

I was a patient tech and worked on the Oncology Unit. I was responsible for taking vital signs, completing patient care, including bathing and clothing. I answered call lights and assisted patients with any requests that they had.

Private Caregiver (January 2019- October 2019)

Cole Gay Springfield, IL

I was a personal care giver to Cole’s wife. I assist her with all her personal needs. Such as, bathing, cooking, cleaning, and taking her to doctor’s appointments and outings. I also do any other duties as requested by Cole.
