I performed various duties such as applying coating materials such as (paint, varnish, shellac, epoxy, and resin) the coatings work is applied with brushes, rollers, spray guns, and wands. I have the ability to clean and degrease in order to remove scale, rust, dirt, and old paint from surfaces so that coating materials will adhere properly. I apply coating material to the surfaces to make them free from skips, runs, and drips. I have the skill to sand, scrape, spackle, and putty surfaces. I have brushed out, rolled on, and sprayed coating materials to surfaces. I have the skill and ability apply and use prepared solvents and thin and stir coating materials. I have skill in the use of tools and equipment such as scrapers, wire brushes, putty knives, sandpaper, paintbrushes, rollers, and spray guns. Knowledge in checking surfaces after coating to see that there are no skips and touch up as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment after completion of every job to make sure safety rules are applied.
