Job Description:

Remove the existing sealant material and scrap clean.

Final scraping and sanding to finish removal.

Brush cleans all debris away from joint.

Spray thinner on clean wipe bond surface.

Wipe bond line with separate clean dry cloth.

Apply tape to outside of bond line for clean straight line.

Apply bond-breaker tape.

Pour primer into separate container.

Apply primer only to the surface to be primed, never prime bond-breaker tape or backer rod.

Place sealant into gun and cut end of sausage.

Cut the tip to the correct size.

Cut off tip of plastic foam and place cone tip on gun.

Pump the proper amount of sealant into the joint.

Begin tooling by “back tooling” excess sealant out of joint.

Place excess sealant onto cardboard or other handy surface. The proper slicker or striker size is very important.

Tool the sealant in both directions for good adhesion.

Carefully use blade or rag to remove excess material.

Putting sealant in windows of high rise building.

Driving the company’s vehicle for delivering the glass and aluminums to the work area.

Cutting glass and aluminums.

Contractual worker renewable every six months.
