Corporate Trainer Hawaii Fluid Art

I Traveled the country opening interactive art studios. I was in charge of meeting with franchisees before the opening, going over everything that needed to be ordered. When I'd arrive in town I would help get everything in the studio inspected and set up properly. We would then interview and hire staff. A week long training would take up the most time, taking time to teach each technique as well as how to interact with customers and make them feel at ease.

I used my years of experience in the Food and Beverage/Hospitality indusrty to help launch The Kava bar. I was responsible for the entire opening process of opening the bar, ordered any equipment that would be needed for operating a normal bar. Set up and assembled products that came in, trained unexperienced staff, counted the cash drawer before and after everyshift.

I would have to call hundreds of potential sales opportunities and get them to come into the store and hopefully buy a piece of furniture. The Pandemic forced me to close my ski shop in New Mexico, so I was unable to open and make money and was forced to either work at a fast food resturant or try to get a job in the most dangerous place at the time, a hospital. I applied for any position that didn’t require a medical degree and was offered the EKG Tech position. I was trained on the job and learned to read EKGs and inform the doctors of any serious life-threatening issues I may have seen.

Select Door is a small family owned Door, Window and Hardware company in Fort Worth. I wore almost every hat at that company. My title was project manager focusing on building the company by aquiring new home builder contracts. Most days would consist of: calling all builders that were on schedule for install, respond to emails, order doors and hardware that needed to be ordered, check on the guys in the back building frames to see if they had everything they needed, once I left the office I would go to every job site to ensure the house was framed properly for installation of our products, redline and changes that needed to be fixed before installation, call builders and homeowners and inform of any changes that needed be made, meet with builders take them to lunch or baseball games in thanks for their business, when needed i would help unload tuck loads of doors and windows, when needed I could rekey locks as well as assist in installations.

I am very much a people person! I have traveled a lot and made many different types of friends all over the country. I have spoken in front of large crowds and given speeches in various settings. I feel my communications skills have helped me get promoted in almost every job I have had.

Leadership

I was elected to be my junior high schools parlimentarian. I have been promoted in almost every job I have had. I have waited tables and bartended at some of the nicest resturants and have served many celebrities. I was the concierge for the Omni Hotel and resorts for a few years and took care of many high profile celebrities.
