At present working as Mechanical Supervisor (Static/Rotating Equipment) – projects in Petroserve International Company through Al Wattan Al Arabi Project W.l.l Qatar. It is an engineering, procurement and construction contracting company Well established and operating in Qatar providing detailed engineering, construction, commissioning.

Position : Mechanical Supervisor (Rot&Equip)

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Engineering, procurement and construction of Revamping of Effluent Treatment Facilities atMAA,MAB &SHU refineries.( Petroserve International Company.)

Role and Responsibilities

Construction of atmospheric above ground storage tanks, shell plate erection on going by jacking method.

Coordinating fabrication and erection activities for the tanks.

Coordinating shell course shifting from fabrication yard to tank area.

Preparation/coordination in getting approval of daily inspections from the client.

Getting the mechanical clearance for testing, commissioning of all tanks.

Supervise and manage the subcontractors for the construction of storage tanks and report to engineer.

Monitoring the tankage job as per required by client.

Responsible for the tanks hydro test activities.

Lead and coordinate with the QA/QC in all quality related aspects.

Review the approval documents about Inspection Test Plan of the project to ensure inspection shall be in accordance with the required quality standard and procedures.

Execute and submit inspection documentation works for static and rotating equipment to assure that the required forms used in testing

submitted are approved by client representative as per ITP such as:- Installation checklist for static/rotating equipments Leveling/alignment recording forms for horizontal and vertical package type-Axial/radial, soft foot parallelism forms for pumps and compressors.

Regular surveillance checking at site to verify the preservation requirements for anchor bolts during construction stage.

Check the physical condition of anchor bolts and leveling of foundations before erection of equipment’s.

Check preservation status of equipment’s at site.

Ensure to have a preservation log for all the equipment checked and monitored daily/weekly for easily tracking the status.

Involving the erection of cooling tower.

Obtaining a complete check list of the assembling equipment and keep a record of a same

Responsible person for clearance of materials inspection.

Responsible for erection of equipment’s such as pumps, vessels, tanks and compressors and other equipment’s as per the app roved method statement.

Check equipment orientation before and after erection.

Check the shimming requirements for static and rotating equipment’s

Check the condition of pump alignment(axial/radial) without piping prior for preparation for piping installation.

After getting clearance note of civil about foundation ready preparation for alignment and leveling and checked setting of padding plates.

Responsible for modification works such as RMP, FUP, Chemical and API-CPI separators in existing areas (Inside refinery).

Good knowledge in permit to work system.

Responsible for safe execution of job

Compression and expansion facilities of modernization of Gathering center of Al wattan Al arabi project Company by upgrading and production capacity almost double the existing capacity and relocation of underground and above ground piping.
