ActionLink 4/13 to 12/14
Part time contract as an assisted sales representative for Intel. My time is primarily spent working at a Best Buy store but I have also worked some special events at Fry’s Electronics. My duties are to assist the store sales representatives in selling Intel based computers, to promote the Intel brand to store associates and customers, and to train the store associates on the latest in Intel technologies.
Although the position is an assisted sales representative, Best Buy allowed me to handle the complete sale up to the point of ringing up the transaction. I sodl the computer, the warranties, and any add-ons. On average, in a 5 1/2 hour day, I slle five or six computers plus add-ons.
Target Corp. 7/08 to 4/14
I work as part of the sales floor team. I helped customers on the sales floor, took customer telephone calls, cashiered when needed, stocked and organized store shelves, and built sales floor displays.
Spherion Corp (Dell Computer Kiosks) 7/07 to 2/08
I worked a part time contract for Dell Direct Stores. Sold computers and other consumer electronics to the general public. Consistently sold an average of $350 to $450 per hour which was usually 1st and sometimes 2nd in the kiosk. Sales averaged of $1600 TRU and $220 SRU. Although I had TRUs and SRUs which were in the middle of the pack (because I would not refuse to sell lower priced systems), I ran 3rd in the Pacific Northwest region twice in 6 months. I also usually ran 1st or 2nd in the kios in total dollars per month despite usually being 3rd or 4th in total hours worked (apx 25 hrs/week) and also despite almost exclusively working opening shifts on weekdays.
The Hoover Co 5/78 to 10/79
I worked as a wholesale sale representative covering major parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties in southern California. I was responsible for selling to and servicing major accounts such as J. C. Penny’s, Treasury stores, Fed Mart, and Best Products. I also sold to small “Mom and Pop” type stores. I was responsible for sales, training of the store staff, running promotions and special sales, in store product displays, and for training and managing our own in store demonstrators.
