Senior Design Engineer, 2018 - 2020

Design and test engineer for a new subsea electro-mechanical product. Create designs and plans to de-risk components based on industry standards. Reviewed and summarized global industry standards product was required to meet. Identified and worked with vendors on the design and selection of components.

• Advanced the product design concept to de-risk technical issues identified during design reviews

• Repurposed and combined existing hardware from multiple products to create test fixtures needed for alpha and beta testing. This saved 6 months and $70,000 on the project. Learning Specialist – Engineering, 2015 - 2018

Implemented global training courses (classroom, virtual, and e-learning) and evaluated learning impact. Worked directly with engineering experts to develop new engineering courses and curriculums. Operated the Learning Management System to manage courses based on company needs.

• Saved the company $50,000 and 8 weeks by creating required training in-house using Articulate Storyline 3

• Utilized data mining to create a propietary system for analyizing training effectivness. This gave insight on where to focus development efforts and indentify training best practicies. Electromechanical Systems Engineer, 2012 - 2015

Spearheaded the development effort for high power wetmate connectors and advanced sensors, including creating new concept designs, documenting processes, leading meetings, training team members, and writing laboratory procedures. Provided critical engineering support to Norway-based team for sensor development related to condition performance monitoring of a subsea pump joint industry project.

• Key team member in front end engineering design study to develop a subsea sensor to meet monitoring needs in subsea processing, in manifold and pipeline connectors, and in high pressure high temperature applications.

• Identified new suppliers to provide necessary resources and products to support internal developmental efforts that were not within company’s current product lines.

• Led engineering development effort of a high pressure / temperature solution for Shell Oil & Gas.

Lynntech Inc. College Station, TX 2002 - 2012

Served as Principal Investigator on the development of advanced power systems for unmanned vehicles, man portable applications, and stationary applications (DoD and NASA funded). Delivered engineering support in mechanical design, chemical system processes, and electrical circuit schematics and programming.

• Managed three projects totaling around $1.0 million including subcontractor management with specific focus on managing budgets, employee time, expenses, and milestones.

• Wrote successful government proposals totaling $6.1 million in funding. EDUCATION
