For the last 11 years my job consisted of all aspects of a system administrator supporting 850+ users. This includes hardware and software selection, purchasing, image creation, imaging, deployment, patching, and maintenance for servers, desktops, and laptops. For the hardware infrastructure, managing VMware ESXi hosts with MSA’s and HPE Nimble. Physical servers were Hp Proliant Servers with Windows Server 2012-2022, and a VMware ESXi environment for on-prem MS Exchange in a hybrid environment and many VM’s in Azure.
