For the last 11 years my job consisted of all aspects of a system administrator supporting 850+ users. This includes hardware and software selection, purchasing, image creation, imaging, deployment, patching, and maintenance for servers, desktops, and laptops. For the hardware infrastructure, managing VMware ESXi hosts with MSA’s and HPE Nimble. Physical servers were Hp Proliant Servers with Windows Server 2012-2022, and a VMware ESXi environment for on-prem MS Exchange in a hybrid environment and many VM’s in Azure. Deployed and managed Azure AD, MS Teams, and Sharepoint. 100+ Cisco, Hp Procurve, and Aruba switches. Also deployed and managed 30+Fortinet firewalls and 60+ Cisco Meraki AP’s in 30+ locations. Was studying for the AZ-900 certification, and working on renewing my Security+ when I left INSURICA.
