I was the project manager on the construction site for a general contracting company, we specialized in credit unions(2-4 million dollar projects).We did one of those about every six months for a new build. We also built new and remodeled schools( 15 million dollar projects on average). The GC I worked for was a smaller company, so I was responsible for planning and logistics as well as working with all the subs in organizing and delegating the work that needed priority. I was also onsite as a carpenter doing a lot of the gray area carpentry that fell between the trades. I am skilled in reading plans and translating that to the physical site. Im am a highly skilled problem solver and I have identified all types of problems that arise in the plans and I work with the engineers to come up with a cost effective and structurally sound remedy. I have a clear understanding of the layers involved in a project from the ground up and i have a lot of experience working with the subs as to know what challenges they face in doing their jobs, this allows me to have a clear and concise idea of the project as a whole and allows me to be efficient in my execution.
