However, when the store manager resigned, lower supervisors took on the role of acting assistant managers, which included scheduling and conducting weekly meetings. I eventually decided to leave the company to pursue new career opportunities that aligned with my degree.

House Painter
Scanlin Enterprises Rockland, NY Dec 2015- Aug 19’
• During my first job, I learned the importance of time management, diligence, attention to detail, and waking up early. I used to work with my father during Summer and Winter breaks while I was still in school. At the beginning, my responsibilities were very small since I started working at a young age. I would sand rough cor- ners and cut edges with paint. However, as I grew up, my respon- sibilities also increased. I would paint entire rooms on my own, do spackling, and even spray the outside molding of houses. The work required early mornings and long days, but it taught me valuable skills that I still use today.
