My duties as an air counter agent were checking received A-Z cargo for shipping. Entails check using our epic system for booking, weight, number of pieces of cargo, and review all documents pertaining to cargo. Ensure all dangerous goods or perishable cargo are accounted for in shipment. In my duties as an air import agent to see if CBP had any holds on cargo from origin counties, notified consignees of arrival using Microsoft office, made sure all cargo has been accounted for using Epic software system.

Morning consists of me reading emails from customers then inputting data of information to create order for air shipment of cargo. I ensured all documentation for cargo was correct, as lead coordinator I supervised my team to check all incoming email were answered, check all cargo brought into warehouse is on manifest. Use our system of TMS to provied customers address, number pieces, weight, and type of cargo. Also, if cargo had dangerous goods or dry ice being shipped or perishable goods are noted.

Review all incoming morning emails for our customer to create a shipping order for that morning shipment. The air cargo is the first of three being shipped out daily dealing with dietary supplements and beauty aids. I’d created all documents for each shipment throughout the day of shipping.
