• The lbs of refrigerant that were in use in the facilities that I worked on were generally in amounts close to 3000 lbs. Either Ammonia or HFC refrigerants.

• Worked on call 24/7 for immediate response in emergency situations.

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance of refrigeration equipment, improving overall life-cycle and reducing maintenance costs.

• Worked with Air Resources Board, recording on their website, dates of required Freon leak checks, system repairs requiring opening the system equipment. Inventoried refrigerant bought, stored and lost due to leak events.

• Scheduled safety meetings. Required employees to wear personal safety equipment at all times, while working.

• Soldered and prepare copper to copper pipe, copper to stainless pipe.

• Performed oil changes on compressors. Valve off, remove oil, evacuate pressure, replaced oil filter on compressor, remove crank case cover, inspect and clean inside of compressor, look for fine metal debris as this is sign of wear. Order new parts and replace if needed. Replace belts, replace system filters, grease motor and blower bearings. Wash condensers. Inspect Freon and compressor oil levels first thing every morning. Perform immediate Freon leak check if Freon sight glasses are low. Prepare to add oil if compressor sight glass is low. Troubleshot why oil level would be low. Listen for unfamiliar sounds when around machinery, as these are early warnings of mechanical problems.

• Can operate forklifts, electric floor lift, scissor lift

• Worked with Belimo actuating motor valves. Replace when needed.

• Worked on Travalini Italian made humidity blower equipment. Tested performance. Troubleshoot temperature and humidity issues.

• Soldered leaks in evaporator and steam coils.
