Security Supervisor – 3rd Shift

• Directly responsible for the management of the 3rd shift overseeing operations for 2 locations including Ben Taub and the Psychiatric Hospital.

• Maintain awareness of the security landscape, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities, and advise the organization on security issues affecting the company in a timely and effective manner.

• Recommend measures to assess and mitigate security risk.

• Develop security risk assessments to identify risks and gaps and provide recommendations for risk mitigation. Provide regular security briefings to staff and provide recommendations to local management operating in areas of elevated security risk.

• Collaborate with Homeland Security and the Mayor’s office on high level security operations.

• Support the Psychiatric Unit and Detox Center overseeing all operations and patient safety

• Manage and monitor a team of 17 security officers providing the safety for all patients in this #1 Trauma Hospital.

• Supervise security in a 1500 car garage monitoring safety using CCTV security cameras.

• Coordinate the payroll for all staff members ensuring the accuracy of all data.

• Manage and investigate criminal activity and collaborate with local law enforcement officials.

• Develop and prepare investigative reports ensuring all investigations are documented to outline emergency operations, criminal offenses and overall operations.

• Conduct investigations on loss prevention and property. Accomplishments:

• Played a key role in the management of 3 major Hurricanes in Houston providing security to ensure safety for all employees, patients and the Houston community.

• Assigned to preliminary and detailed emergency operations for the President of the United States, Governor, Mayor. visiting dignitaries, sports teams, and high-level officials.
