This was a contract gig. I took names, entered data, passed out self-testing materials, instructed new testers on procedures, generally kept things running smoothly.
DELIVERY DRIVER, Various locations, 02/20 – 3/21
A part-time gig, helping out a High School buddy of mine. I delivered High-End Alcoholic Spirits for various on-line outlets. The job brought me into contact with the public a great deal, tough work during the Pandemic.
FREELANCE PODCAST PRODUCER, Various locations, 11/18- 05/19
I developed a podcast for Lexington’s Jonathan Goldin, based on his experience as a Psychoanalyst and Political Activist.
BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY, Waltham, MA, 8/18-12/18
Mailroom Clerk. A temp position for Adecco, I work in the Mailroom, sorting delivering, doing whatever needs doing. It’s a hard, often fun assignment!
MINUTEMAN TALKING BOOKS, Nashua, NH, 1/07-5/18
Producer/Engineer. I produced narration sessions for the Library Of Congress’s Talking Books program, and proofread and edited the resulting files.
HARMAN SPECIALTY GROUP, Bedford, MA, 4/07-5/08
Quality Assurance Engineer. I tested the software on Mark Levinson Audio-Video products, developed test plans and test cases, and wrote custom External Control Protocol test scripts.
AVID TECHNOLOGY, Tewksbury, MA, 10/06-12/06
Quality Assurance Engineer. This was a short contract testing the transcoding of all the various Video formats and resolutions available in Avid’s Media Composer video editing system.
Xavier Millennium Productions, Woburn, MA, 04/04–10/07
Video Editor. I edited documentaries and infomercials, shot concert footage, designed graphics and titles.

Customer Service. I maintained and opened retail accounts for the company’s Souls of the Sea series of Music CDs, including phone work and personal calls.
YOUNG CHANG R&D INSTITUTE (Kurzweil Music Systems), Waltham, MA, 10/94–10/01
Soundware Engineer. I developed programs and voices for various synthesizers, with an emphasis on General MIDI and Multimedia applications, composed and produced demo and test sequences, procured samples. I was the lead Sound Designer for the company’s OEM division.
AVID TECHNOLOGY, Tewksbury, MA, 1/93-9/94
Quality Assurance Engineer. I tested Avid’s state-of-the-art Digital Video Editing system, Media Composer. I also trained analog Video Editors in the lab who had little experience with digital editing. I was also the lead QA engineer on the company’s first consumer product, VideoShop.

Owner/Operator. This is my home studio. Recent work involves Film Scoring, audio treatment for video soundtracks. I also recently mixed a limited-release CD for the legendary A Cappella act the Persuasions.

Audio Engineer. Here I prepared and copied Sony tapes for mastering, and generally assisted wherever I was needed.
