As Senior Construction Manager working within the DC Water and Sewer Authority, I was charged with overall project management. This included planning, scheduling, budget, and finance/cost control.
Monitored sub-contractor operations and applied effective time, resource and money management strategies to deliver under budget project completion
Sustained site compliance with OSHA, federal, state, local regulations to prevent unnecessary delays.
Knowledge of FRA regulations, OSHA requirements, and other federal, state, and local regulations and standards sufficient to ensure compliance
Improved process efficiency and workflow by implementing productivity initiatives and proactively identifying and resolving problems. This was shown while working on the Florida avenue project where I had direct supervision over the following: Excavation and cast-in-place concrete lining installation of drop shaft.

Developed budget costs for new projects from preliminary plans and functional requirements originating from WMATA-FDAC system wide. Projects range from inspecting demo work, cleanup, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and tile work, to minor construction or renovation projects. Upon tentative approval, these projects form the basis for surface structures and shaft for the expansion of the Medical Center Station monitoring blasting procedure, sensors, slurry walls and renovation of the existing train station (MD 355/ Medical Center Station Expansion Project $68.1 million).
While working on the WMATA project the team was able work without closing the Brookland / CUA Metro Station.
Collaborated with renovation work of the Monroe Street Bridge project (NE, DC) $12.8M. Responsible for regular analytical and metrics-based reporting to Senior staff, Executive Governance Committees.
Tracked, forecasts and controlled funding throughout the complete design and construction cycle of assigned renovation and construction projects. Responsible for assigned projects under my direct control total funds expenditures to remain within approved limits. Ensured change orders were reviewed/approved in accordance with established guidance.
Reviewed and coordinated with the MD 355/ Medical Center Station project such matters as scheduling; resolved problems as siting, and relationship to other existing structures. Act as prime point of contact (P.O.C.) and project representative with outside agencies and local activities during design and construction phases.

Managed and inspected Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) projects, this included reviewing plans and specifications for upcoming projects.
While managing the inspection of MDTA I oversaw concrete testing, managed contractors and subcontractors, enforced safety rules and regulations, reviewed contract documents, conducted meetings, and scheduled tasks for projects, ranging from $500k to $750k.
Performed Quality Assurance on assigned Contracts/Projects.
Reviewed technical data and reports for input in various construction systems and also approved pay estimates.
As civil inspector I was advisor for assigned projects and resolved problems that arose between plans and specs.
Investigated possible change orders and reported findings to the Contracting Officers Representative (COR).
