MARK P A R K E R 619-***-**** **************@*****.*** Completions and Workover Superintendent – Port Harcourt, Nigeria Nov 2015 – Sep 2017 Achieved excellent results in a leadership role overseeing onshore and offshore well intervention and completion programs for Total’s assets in Nigeria. Led a Completions team including Supervisors and Engineers to plan, program and execute on cost-optimal programs.
• Key Project: Held a strategic role in preparation and execution of a large-scale project (Ofon Phase 2) to drill new development wells and increase new production in a vital asset. Achieved production outcomes higher than expected despite the complexity of drilling operation in Nigeria.
• Successful Outcome: Communicated cross-functionally with multiple departments to build complete programs to be executed on site, with success in coordinating 5 completions and 1 workover successfully.
• Resource Management: Tracked and managed spare parts inventory for X-mas Tree equipment and other resources required for facilitation of completions and workovers.
• Cost Savings: Notably optimized cost and personnel to achieve a 20% savings in the drilling budget, with savings achieved through layoffs, selection of cost-optimal contractors, and workflow optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Managed and oversaw Reservoir & Production Engineers, Geologists, Petro physicists, Drilling Engineers and Drilling Fluid specialists. Collectively developed depletion, perforation, and completion strategies for wells.
• Analysis & Assessment: Utilized analytical skills and substantial data to manage risk, complete lookbacks / debriefs, facilitate technical audits for service companies and coordinate site-level investigations.
• Informational Resource Development: Built and updated a highly valuable internal "Completion Improvement Plan and Lessons Learned” document, enabling Total to achieve greater results over time. Senior Completion & Material Engineer – Dubai, UAE Jul 2011 – Nov 2015 Developed programs for new eruptive wells, water wells, well testing, clean-up interventions, completions, and workovers to maximize production for Total’s assets in the UAE. Alongside engineering contributions, upheld team-wide commitment to HSE goals, trained new supervisors and engineers, and contributed to a zero downhole pump failure rate for 2014.
