Naval Research Laboratory Washington, DC Principle Investigator 01/2000 to 3/2002 Participated in design, development, and flight testing of advanced lightweight space technology for Department of Defense Satellite Missions Mightysat-2, and XSS10.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Livermore, CA Physicist 01/1990 to 4/2000 Created and Managed the Clementine Mission, the first US lunar mission since the Apollo Era, as Chief Scientist and Deputy Program Manager. Supported all aspects of design, development, flight operations, data reduction and publication of scientific results. Conceived the Bi Static Radar experiment which provided the first evidence of ice at the lunar South Pole. A duplicate of Clementine hangs in the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC.
