I’m responsible for all inmate's request, concerns, EX: (property release, church, haircuts, A/A, release dates, addresses. I also handle inmate’sdisciplinary incidents and determine if they are guilty or not guilty of theirinfractions. Along with answering their Grievances. I’m also over making Trusty’s for VCSO and meet those requirements .
G.E.D : We verify if an inmate meets the requirement to attend the program.
G.I : I monitor all inmate in VCSO, who might have affiliations with any Street Gangs or Prison Gang. I’ll conduct interviews and look at their tattoos to try and confirm any involvement with an organization. I monitor mail for any possible threats within the facility and if anything that can help fellow LEOS out on the Fields. I have 8 1/2 years with the VCSO and as a G.I . As a GI I believe what make me a good officer. I’ve gain the trust of the inmates and I’m upfront with them. I’ve received information that has heled other counties and agencies with various information. I’m a firm believer in honesty with everyone
I started as a jailer in the jail overseeing inmates my main job description was Care, Custody, and Control of inmates awaiting a Court date.
