Presently working as a project Manager at Galle Fort Rampart restoration and improvement package - 01 Name of project: Restoration and Improvement of Galle Fort Rampart-Package-01. Sri Lanka. Project Value – 270M
Year: January 2020– To date
Client: Archeological department project features: 1. Reconstruction of collapsed walls, collapsed drains, gun bases, plastering, roofing, retaining walls, buttress walls, doors and windows.
2. Conservation of ancient constructed by Dutch in Galle Fort rampart walls. 3. Boulder stack packing prevention of erosion by sea. 4. Entrance arches supporting for conservation, excavation and waterproofing with lime concrete and back fill. 5. Conservation of steel works of gun artillery and other items. Those all construction categories controlled by me. During in this project I performed following tasks,
• Coordinated with Client consultant Design Engineer, Architect and got the relevant approvals
• Coordinated with subcontractors
• Monitoring progress and quality maintained, QA/QC is of utmost priority
• Monitoring program and billing circle, manage the project budget and cash flow by working closely with the commercial team
• Participated progress review meeting
• Weekly monthly presentations
• Evaluated construction progress and issued monthly progress
